Inspector TBM Tunnels

Role Summary

Responsible for inspecting and monitoring rail tunnel construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings specifications contract requirements railway standards and HSE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect rail tunnel works including TBM excavation segmental lining grouting waterproofing cross passages shafts track bed construction and associated civil works.
• Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with approved method statements ITPs quality requirements and construction sequences.
• Verify materials workmanship testing and installation activities in accordance with project specifications and railway standards.
• Monitor TBM operations segment erection alignment settlement monitoring and ground movement control measures.
• Maintain daily site records and report on progress quality issues and non-conformities.
• Witness inspections testing commissioning and handover activities.
• Coordinate with contractors engineers and client representatives to resolve site issues and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and tunnel safety procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 7 to 10 years of construction inspection experience on major rail metro or underground infrastructure projects.
• Mandatory experience on TBM tunnel projects 
• Strong knowledge of tunnel construction railway standards QA/QC procedures and HSE requirements.
• Experience on High Speed Rail or metro projects is preferred.

Qualifications :

Diploma or Degree in Civil or Railway Engineering (or equivalent).
