We are looking for a reliable drilling helper to join our construction team. The responsibilities of the drilling helper include assisting drill operators handling drilling tools and materials and keeping the drilling site clean organised and safe.

To be a successful drilling helper you should be able to follow instructions accurately and work well as part of a drilling crew. Ultimately a top-notch drilling helper should be hardworking physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather types.

• Assisting drill operators in setting up and operating drilling rigs.
• Handling drilling rods casing pipes and associated tools.
• Preparing and maintaining the drilling site including fluid/mud circulation support.
• Loading and unloading drilling materials and equipment.
• Carrying out routine cleaning and maintenance of drilling equipment.
• Assisting with recording drilling logs and site information.
• Following all safety procedures during drilling operations.
• Reporting equipment faults or unsafe conditions to the driller/supervisor.
• Keeping the drilling site clean organised and hazard-free.
• Complying with all site safety rules and wearing PPE at all times.

• KCSE
• Kenyan Passport (valid minimum 1 year validity)
• Prior experience assisting on drilling sites may be advantageous.
• A relevant trade or safety certification may be advantageous.
• A good understanding of health and safety issues.
• The ability to follow instructions accurately.
• The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good physical fitness and stamina.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• A positive hardworking attitude.
