Role Overview

Our Client is a well-established organisation in the UAE seeking a skilled Controls Engineer with a strong UAE or GCC background to join their growing engineering team. The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience in control systems design implementation and maintenance within a technical and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and implement control systems for industrial and mechanical applications.
• Programme configure and maintain PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems and HMI (Human Machine Interface) panels.
• Conduct system testing commissioning and troubleshooting of control systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Prepare technical documentation including control system specifications wiring diagrams and commissioning reports.
• Identify and resolve control system faults and performance issues promptly.
• Ensure all control systems comply with UAE safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience as a Controls Engineer within the UAE or GCC region is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in PLC programming SCADA systems and HMI configuration.
• Solid understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Experience with industrial automation and control system integration.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and technical documentation skills.
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Mechatronics or Control Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
• Must be currently based in the UAE with valid residency and legal right to work.
