Commis 1 (Pastry)

Assist the Chef de Partie and Pastry team with daily pastry production.

Prepare mise en place and ingredients according to established recipes and production requirements.

Assist in preparing pastries cakes desserts breads cookies and other pastry products.

Follow recipes preparation methods portioning and presentation standards accurately.

Assist with decorating finishing and plating pastry and dessert items.

Ensure the quality freshness and consistency of all products.

Maintain proper storage labeling and FIFO procedures for ingredients.

Keep workstations equipment and utensils clean organized and hygienic.

Follow HACCP food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

Previous experience as a Commis Chef preferably within a 5-star hotel or high-quality pastry operation.

Basic knowledge of pastry and baking techniques.

Culinary or Pastry qualification is preferred.

Basic knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.

Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.

Good organizational and communication skills.
