Job Title: CNC and Laser Operator
Department: Manufacturing
Reports To: Production Manager
Summary:
The CNC and Laser Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining computer-controlled machines that are used to cut or etch materials such as metal plastic and wood. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machines and laser cutters as well as a strong understanding of safety procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC and laser cutting machines.
- Load and unload raw materials into machines.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Troubleshoot machine problems.
- Maintain machines and equipment.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience with CNC machines and laser cutters.
- Strong knowledge of Corel and AutoCAD software.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
