Middle East Mattress Factory Sealy a renowned leader in the bedding industry proudly operates as a licensed manufacturer of Sealy Saudi Arabia and the MENA region. Our legacy began in 1990 where we established ourselves as purveyors of high-end bedding products including Sealy Crown Jewels and Stearns & Foster which have been well received across the Arab world. Our modern production facility in Jeddah launched in 1999 embodies our commitment to quality and technological advancement. As we continue to expand we are looking for a dedicated Chief Accountant to join our esteemed finance team. This role is vital in maintaining the integrity of our financial reporting while ensuring compliance with regulations. The successful candidate will oversee the accounting department contribute to strategic financial planning and support the organization in achieving its business objectives through effective financial management.
- Oversee and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger.
- Prepare financial statements and reports in adherence to accounting standards.
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable receivable and payroll.
- Conduct regular audits of financial processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with senior management to support financial planning and budgeting activities.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the accounting team fostering a culture of professionalism and development.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns and compliance with applicable tax regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
- Proven 7 years of experience in accounting with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles tax regulations and financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage a team effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Male.
- 30 to 45 years old.
- Lebanese or Indian naitonal.
