Accountant Accounts Payable

We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant Accounts Payable to join our dynamic team in Dubai, UAE. This role is essential in managing our accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the accounts payable process, including invoice verification and payment processing

Ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors and suppliers

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Maintain organized financial records and documentation

Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting

Collaborate with internal departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency

Monitor and analyze accounts payable metrics to identify areas for improvement

Support audits and provide necessary documentation as required

Requirements & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles and practices

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organizational and time management skills

4–5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role

Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ERP systems is a plus

Certification in accounting or finance (e.g., CPA, ACCA)

Familiarity with local tax regulations and compliance requirements
