Ontime Group is urgently seeking an experienced Accountant with auditing expertise to join our finance team immediately. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records performing audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting tasks including accounts payable accounts receivable and ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits to evaluate financial controls and identify discrepancies
- Prepare and review financial statements ensuring compliance with accounting principles
- Coordinate with external auditors during audit processes
- Provide recommendations for improving financial processes and controls
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards and financial regulations
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience with substantial auditing exposure
- Strong understanding of auditing procedures and accounting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Professional certification such as CPA ACCA or equivalent is preferred
- Immediate availability is a must
