HSE officer Engineer

At Dr Job FZ LLC in Dubai, UAE, we are a leading firm in the construction industry committed to ensuring safety and environmental compliance. We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Officer Engineer to join our team. As an HSE Officer Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing health, safety, and environmental practices on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.

- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.

- Coordinate HSE training programs for employees and contractors.

- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and provide detailed reports.

- Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards.

- Monitor emergency response preparedness and participate in drills.

- Collaborate with project managers to address HSE concerns effectively.

- Maintain accurate HSE records and documentation.

Requirements & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.

- 3-7 years of experience in HSE roles within the construction sector.

- Proficient in conducting HSE audits and creating reports.

- Strong knowledge of OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work well under pressure and resolve conflicts.

- Attention to detail and analytical mindset.

- Certification in NEBOSH or equivalent is a plus.

Candidate Preferences:

- Preferred Nationality: Cameroonian

- Fluent in English, German, or French.
