Role Overview As a Senior Turbomachinery Systems Engineer you will serve as a key client liaison steering complex rotating equipment projects from conception to completion. This role demands a highly adaptable proactive professional who can expertly balance strict financial and scheduling targets with top-tier technical execution.

Project & Engineering Leadership

• Direct the full lifecycle of both greenfield (First Fit) and brownfield (Retrofit/Upgrade) Dry Gas Seal and Support System installations ensuring flawless execution within budget constraints.

• Oversee Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) workflows as well as comprehensive post-order engineering phases as directed by leadership.

• Analyze incoming client technical specifications to align them with appropriate design strategies.

• Guarantee that all deliverables meet rigorous internal quality metrics and exceed client expectations.

• Track project timelines proactively and maintain accurate up-to-date documentation and status reports.

• Meticulously review and proofread all outgoing engineering reports to ensure accuracy and professionalism prior to client delivery.

Field Operations & Client Success

• Be prepared for significant short-notice international travel (approximately 35%) covering the EMEA region and other global territories as dictated by business needs.

• Deploy to both onshore and offshore locations for critical field assignments with individual deployments potentially lasting up to four weeks.

• Deliver expert technical guidance on-site system commissioning complex troubleshooting and tailored client training programs.

• Respond rapidly to client equipment failures traveling to operational sites to execute urgent repairs and minimize downtime.

• Cultivate strong collaborative relationships with clients external partners and internal teams to guarantee seamless service delivery.

• Champion organizational ethics and core values while demonstrating a motivated adaptable approach to daily challenges.

Commercial Strategy & Business Development

• Partner with the sales division to mature early-stage leads into actionable projects through strategic site surveys needs analysis and customized presentations.

• Identify new business avenues by performing comprehensive site feasibility assessments across our entire equipment portfolio.

• Lead engaging technical and commercial presentations to educate clients reinforce existing partnerships and uncover novel revenue streams.

• Assist aftermarket and sales teams by providing technical oversight for commercial bids.

• Draft justify and oversee comprehensive proposals for major turnkey engineering initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as the central communication hub between clients and internal departments (such as manufacturing supply chain and engineering) to design and deliver optimal customized solutions.

• Advocate for the client by acting as the Voice of the Customer (VoC) to guide New Product Development and shape product outlines.

• Ensure local daily operations align with and support broader global corporate strategies and initiatives.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Academic Background: A Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Electrical Electronics Instrumentation Engineering or a closely allied discipline.

• Professional Tenure: At least 12 years of relevant industry background ideally heavily focused on rotating machinery and associated systems.

• Linguistic Abilities: Fluent professional-level English is mandatory; conversational or fluent Arabic is a significant advantage.

Technical & Professional Competencies

• Substantial verifiable background in hands-on field operations and site management.

• A strong blend of commercial business acumen and deep engineering proficiency specifically concerning industrial fluid and instrumentation systems.

• Thorough grasp of major global industry codes (e.g. ASME API ISO ISA NACE) as well as typical end-user specifications.

• Skilled in 2D design and drafting specifically utilizing Solid Edge software.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to thrive in diverse multicultural global environments.
