Senior Facilities Manager / Engineer

Hiring for a leading real estate group
Salary: AEDper month
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager / Engineer to oversee building operations maintenance activities and technical systems across residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in MEP/HVAC systems proven leadership experience and the ability to manage vendors and maintenance teams in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Operations & Maintenance
Manage daily operations of MEP HVAC and building systems.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance safety and optimal performance.
Monitor and optimize energy usage through BMS (Building Management Systems).
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all critical systems.
Diagnose and resolve system failures and equipment issues promptly.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and compliance documentation.
Projects & Renovations
Support renovation upgrade and retrofit projects from planning to execution.
Review technical drawings schematics and system specifications.
Coordinate with contractors and consultants to ensure quality and safety standards.
Health Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with UAE building codes fire safety regulations and HSE standards.
Conduct safety inspections risk assessments and support emergency response planning.
Provide training on safety procedures and equipment handling when required.
Vendor & Contractor Management
Supervise outsourced service providers including maintenance cleaning pest control landscaping and elevators.
Track contractor performance and ensure KPI and SLA compliance.
Assist with procurement vendor evaluations and quotation reviews.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare facility reports incident logs and maintenance summaries.
Maintain technical documents including as-built drawings manuals and certifications.
Recommend improvements to enhance system performance and operational efficiency.

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Electrical or Civil Engineering.
35 years of UAE experience in Facilities Management.
