Job Title: Technician - RM 5 Mechanical Shift - Rebar Mill Maintenance
Department: Rolling Maintenance
Shift: Yes
General Summary:
Responsible for mechanical maintenance of Rolling Mill equipment to minimize downtime optimize production and ensure safe reliable and cost-effective operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive corrective and breakdown maintenance of Rolling Mill equipment.

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide solutions to minimize downtime.

Inspect equipment to ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
-
Support superiors in heavy section mill maintenance activities and coordinate with other departments.

Lead and guide a team of Technicians/Fitters during maintenance work.
-
Ensure adherence to safety quality and environmental policies.
Requirements:
-
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
-
7 - 8 years experience in steel plant mechanical maintenance with at least 5 years in Rolling Mill.

Strong knowledge of predictive & preventive maintenance troubleshooting hydraulic circuits and engineering drawings.

Skilled in use of hand tools measuring instruments rigging and slinging.

Good communication skills (English required; Arabic preferred).

Computer literacy and report writing ability.
