Job description:
Responsibilities:
-Perform dimensional, visual and NDT Inspection of components and approve release to dispatch
-Generate Inspection Reports
-Issue internal Non-Conformance Reports where necessary.
-Collaborate in root cause investigation and corrective action in the event of non conformity
-Assist Client's during joint inspections
-Perform incoming inspection of raw materials and outsourced components
-Comply with the Company QMS requirements
-Support process improvement activities
Qualifications:
-Qualified to a minimum Diploma level (or equivalent experience).
-Understanding of ISO9001
-Knowledge in the use of measuring instruments such as Outside & Inside Micrometer, Vernier Calipers, Bore Gauges, etc.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Can interpret mechanical drawings
-Knowledge in NDT Inspection (UT, PT & VT) preferably certified against ISO9712 or SNT-TC-1A
-Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
-Motivated and conscientious individual with a methodical, systematic approach
