The Senior Demand Planner will own the local demand insights and S&OP process for your portfolio translating market intelligence into robust demand forecasts. Through close collaboration with commercial marketing finance and supply teams you will enhance forecast reliability support financial planning optimize inventory and proactively mitigate demand and supply risks.
Responsibilities:
Your main focus:
Lead S&OP execution
- Facilitate the monthly local S&OP cycle
- Prepare and support management S&OP meetings
- Align commercial marketing and finance inputs
- Capture and validate all market insights
Drive forecast accuracy
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts for the portfolio
- Define assumptions risks and opportunities
- Perform root cause analysis on forecast variances
- Communicate insights to central demand planning
Enable system-driven planning
- Upload forecast drivers and assumptions
- Integrate ML inputs EPOS and sales forecasts
- Maintain demand planning system accuracy
- Ensure robust data governance
Manage portfolio and innovation planning
- Forecast New Product Development demand
- Coordinate market readiness with cross-functional teams
- Manage product launches and discontinuations
- Prevent excess stock and obsolescence
Optimize inventory and service levels
- Monitor stock availability and supply risks
- Implement mitigation plans with DRP teams
- Support stock allocation decisions
- Maximize customer order fulfillment

Bring strong planning expertise
- Demand forecasting and S&OP execution
- Inventory and service level optimization
- Portfolio and lifecycle management
Excel analytically
- Advanced Excel and data analysis
- Forecast accuracy and KPI tracking
- Root cause and variance analysis
Leverage planning systems
- SAP JDA OMP o9 or similar tools
- Forecast driver and data integration
- System-based decision making
Communicate with impact
- Stakeholder management up to manager level
- Clear structured insights and recommendations
- Cross-functional collaboration
