Role Overview:
The Project Controls Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the financial commercial and administrative governance of supervision projects. The role focuses on ensuring robust control of timesheets invoicing payment tracking project profitability intercompany coordination and contractual documentation across multiple supervision assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Financial & Commercial Controls
Monitor and follow up on timesheet submissions and approvals across all supervision projects to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Track invoice submissions and maintain structured invoicing logs.
Maintain and regularly update the payment status register.
Identify outstanding or overdue payments and escalate to management for timely action.
Compile project cost and revenue data and prepare periodic Profit & Loss (P&L) reports for supervision projects.
Intercompany Coordination (ICA):
Gather and consolidate supervision project staffing data.
Prepare and share ICA employee allocation lists with the Accounts team to facilitate intercompany invoicing.
Develop and maintain General ICA Frameworks for supervision projects.
Contract & Documentation Management
Maintain structured supervision contract documentation.
Provide support on contractual and commercial matters where required.
Ensure proper filing version control and accessibility of project commercial records.
Reporting & Stakeholder Support:
Provide commercial and administrative support to:
o Line Manager
o Head of Supervision
o Head of Project Management
o Senior Associate Commercial
Support internal reporting requirements related to financial performance and resource deployment.
Systems & Tools:
Maintain data integrity across project control logs and trackers.
Support digital reporting processes.
Oracle system knowledge is considered an added advantage.
Qualifications :
Minimum 12 years of experience in Project Controls must have engineering consultancy or supervision experience.
Strong understanding of:
o Project financial tracking
o Invoicing cycles
o Intercompany coordination
o Contract administration
Advanced proficiency in reporting and data consolidation.
High attention to detail with strong follow-up capability.
Ability to work across multi-project environments.
Bachelors degree in civil engineering or any related field.
