We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Database Administrator (Apps DBA) to manage maintain and optimize our diverse database and application environments. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in Oracle Applications and a wide range of database systems including SQL Server MySQL MongoDB PostgreSQL and Oracle APEX. Additional knowledge in technologies like WebLogic Oracle RAC ASM Sharding and Pgpool is highly desirable.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite / Oracle Applications environments.
Perform installation configuration tuning patching and upgrades for databases including:
Oracle Database (including RAC and ASM)
SQL Server MySQL MongoDB PostgreSQL (with Pgpool and Sharding)
Manage and configure Oracle APEX applications.
Administer and support WebLogic Server for application deployment and performance tuning.
Monitor system performance identify issues and implement solutions.
Ensure high availability backup and disaster recovery solutions across platforms.
Work with development and infrastructure teams to support application lifecycle and deployment.
Implement database security policies and best practices.
Develop and maintain documentation for database architectures configurations processes and procedures.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 5 years of experience as an Applications DBA or similar role.
Hands-on experience with:
- Oracle E-Business Suite / Applications DBA tasks
- Oracle RAC and ASM
- WebLogic Server
- SQL Server MySQL PostgreSQL and MongoDB administration
- Oracle APEX development/support
- PostgreSQL Sharding and Pgpool setup and tuning
- Strong understanding of database security backup recovery and high availability.
- Excellent problem-solving and performance tuning skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
