Job Summary
A QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products processes and projects meet quality standards and client specifications. The role involves inspection testing documentation compliance monitoring and coordination with project and production teams to maintain quality assurance and control procedures.
Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures.
Conduct inspections of materials processes and finished work.
Review project specifications drawings and technical documents.
Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports records and test results.
Identify defects or deviations and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with engineers contractors and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
Ensure compliance with international standards client requirements and regulatory guidelines.
Perform site audits internal audits and quality checks.
Monitor calibration of testing equipment and instruments.
Support project teams during inspections by consultants or clients.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical or relevant discipline).
37 years of experience in QA/QC or quality inspection role.
Knowledge of international standards such as ISO ASTM ASME or equivalent.
Experience in construction manufacturing oil & gas or engineering projects (depending on industry).
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of quality control processes and documentation.
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and quality reporting tools.
Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
