We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess to join our team at SO/ Uptown Dubai. As the first point of contact for our guests you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless dining experience.
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Monitor open dining sections for available tables
- Estimate and communicate wait times to guests
- Answer phone calls professionally and handle inquiries
- Escort guests to their tables and introduce them to their server
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date reservation system
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations
- Address guest concerns and requests promptly and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Assist with special events and promotions as needed
Qualifications :
- Vocational certificate or diploma in Food and Beverage service preferred
- Fluency in English; Arabic language is a plus
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferably in hospitality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills for managing reservation systems
