Sealy Mattress Middle East is actively seeking a skilled General Accountant to enhance our finance this position you will be instrumental in supporting the companys financial operations by managing day-to-day accounting tasks ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This role is ideal for someone who is meticulous has strong problem-solving abilities and is passionate about accounting.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of general ledger accounting including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Process accounts payable and receivable overseeing the preparation and distribution of invoices.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes to meet deadlines.
- Prepare detailed documentation for audits and support external auditors with required reports.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely accounting practices.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in general accounting or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
- Able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Male.
- 30 to 40 years of age.
- Indian or Pakistani national currently residing in UAE.
