Role Overview
This role is responsible for driving sales performance and market development across the Middle East and Africa for a well-established international consumer products brand. The position focuses on distributor management market expansion brand visibility and revenue growth through effective sales execution and relationship management.
The successful candidate will work closely with distributors and key retail partners to strengthen market presence optimise distribution networks and ensure alignment with commercial objectives.
Reporting Line
Reports into the regional sales leadership team
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Market Development
Develop and manage strong relationships with distributors and key local customers to generate consistent revenue
Identify and develop new business opportunities including untapped retail segments e-commerce platforms and sub-distributors
Achieve assigned sales targets in line with agreed growth and profitability objectives
Distributor & Channel Management
Monitor distributor sell-in and sell-out performance to ensure alignment with business targets
Evaluate distribution coverage and recommend optimisation or expansion where required
Support distributors with inventory planning to maintain healthy stock levels and improve turnover
Monitor Purchase Sales and Inventory data and provide recommendations to improve sell-out performance
Brand & Retail Execution
Ensure strong retail presence through correct product display pricing consistency and adherence to brand guidelines
Support local marketing initiatives including ATL BTL and digital campaigns to drive brand awareness
Ensure compliance with company policies branding standards and ethical business practices
Commercial & Reporting
Analyse market trends competitor activity and sales performance to provide accurate forecasts
Prepare regular sales reports market updates and action plans
Ensure timely collection of payments and order security in line with internal processes
Training & Stakeholder Engagement
Deliver product and sales training to distributor teams and retail partners
Maintain consistent communication with internal stakeholders across sales marketing logistics accounts and service teams
Coordinate with after-sales and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Candidate Profile
Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar sales role within the UAE
Previous experience working with distributors is essential
Background in consumer products or electronics is strongly preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong sales and negotiation capability
Proven ability to manage and influence distributor teams
Excellent communication presentation and analytical skills
Strong understanding of regional markets and distribution models
Commercially driven with a proactive and results-focused mindset
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field
Master’s degree is advantageous
Languages
Fluent English and Arabic
French is a plus
