We are currently inviting Expressions of Interest for the following roles as part of a confidential metro rolling stock consultancy bid project in Dubai. All positions are full-time UAE-based and require strong GCC experience with preference given to candidates with RTA project exposure.
About the Role: The Contracts / Commercial Manager will be responsible for managing all contractual financial and commercial aspects of the project in line with FIDIC principles client expectations and Surbana Jurongs governance. This role plays a key part in risk management claims strategy and cost controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft review and negotiate consultancy and subcontract agreements
- Manage commercial reporting budgeting and forecasting activities
- Administer claims variations and contractual correspondence
- Ensure compliance with RTA and UAE contractual requirements
- Collaborate with legal technical and procurement teams to mitigate risk and ensure project profitability
Requirements:
- MSc/BSc in Engineering Quantity Surveying Law or Commercial Management
- Minimum 15 years experience in contracts and commercial roles on metro or infrastructure projects
- In-depth understanding of FIDIC forms of contract RTA contract frameworks and GCC regulations
- Excellent negotiation contract drafting and cost control skills
- Experience in leading commercial functions for complex multidisciplinary projects
