- Serve guests in accordance with Sofitels standards for food and beverage quality presentation and sanitation ensuring a gracious and professional experience at all times.
- Demonstrate pride in all aspects of service including quality appearance and cleanliness both personally and within your area of responsibility.
- Understand and adhere to all Beverage Department Standard Operating Procedures and actively seek opportunities to suggest and implement improvements.
- Professionally set up the bar at the beginning of each shift including preparing liquor ice glassware juices and garnishes in accordance with operational standards.
- Accurately process drink orders in the correct sequence verify order quantities and manage billing promptly and efficiently.
- Prepare all cocktails according to Sofitels standard beverage manual ensuring the use of proper techniques and standard measures.
- Receive and verify liquor deliveries against previous shift requisitions; promptly report any discrepancies to the Food & Beverage Supervisor.
- Maintain security within the work area at all times; do not leave the bar unattended unless properly relieved by a colleague.
- Assist in end-of-shift cleanup duties including mopping floors removing empty cans and bottles cleaning rails and counters and disposing of melted ice in bins.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in a similar high-end or hospitality-focused environment.
- Strong knowledge of wine beer and cocktail preparation with impeccable attention to detail and presentation.
- Genuine passion for food and beverage with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proven ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Expertise in mixing garnishing and serving drinks according to established standards and recipes.
- Positive attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain a clean well-stocked and efficient bar at all times.
