Department: Applied HVAC
Location: Dubai / Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates
Reporting To: General Manager HVAC UAE
Direct Reports: 8 Sellers

Role Overview
The Applied Commercial Head will lead Carrier UAEs Applied HVAC business driving commercial strategy sales execution and operational excellence across the UAE. This role is critical to achieving Carriers growth ambitions for 2026 and beyond.
Role Responsibilities
Commercial Leadership
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
Oversee sales pipelines forecasting and deal closure.
Collaborate and support the Applied back office team to ensure alignment on delivery and execution.
Market Expansion
Strengthen relationships with contractors consultants and key accounts.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage across the UAE.
Lead business development efforts in underserved or emerging regions.
Team Development & Succession Planning
Provide leadership mentorship and performance guidance to the sales team.
Support team members in strategic negotiations and complex deal execution.
Drive succession planning and continuous capability development.
Technical & Product Expertise
Demonstrate deep understanding of Applied HVAC systems and solutions.
Lead technical presentations proposals and solution design for complex projects.
Serve as a subject matter expert in high-level client discussions.
Operational Coordination
Collaborate with internal teams (Supply Chain Marketing Finance) to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
Participate in performance reviews cross-functional planning and strategy sessions.
Uphold Carriers standards for ethics Environment Health & Safety (EH&S) and compliance.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC sales with a focus on Applied systems.
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication leadership and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
Strategic market insight and customer relationship management.
Technical proficiency in HVAC systems and solutions.
Agility resilience and the ability to thrive in a dynamic business environment.
Collaborative self-driven and results-oriented mindset.
