As the Head Valet at Pullman Dubai JLT you are the first and last point of contact for our guests. You will lead a high-energy team to deliver seamless upscale arrivals and departures. Your role combines operational precision team leadership and a Heartist approach to service ensuring that every vehicle and every guest interaction reflects the premium standards of the Pullman brand.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Management
Supervise and mentor the valet team ensuring all staff adhere to grooming standards and service protocols.
Coordinate shift rotas and manage peak-hour deployment to minimize guest wait times.
Conduct daily briefings to communicate VIP arrivals hotel events and occupancy levels.
2. Operational Excellence
Oversee the efficient flow of traffic at the hotel main entrance preventing congestion in the JLT cluster.
Ensure the safe handling parking and retrieval of guest vehicles.
Manage the valet parking log key security systems and damage inspection reports with 100% accuracy.
Collaborate with the Security team to maintain driveway safety and surveillance.
3. Guest Experience
Provide a warm proactive welcome to all guests anticipating their needs (luggage assistance directions or local recommendations).
Handle guest complaints or vehicle concerns with diplomacy urgency and a solution-oriented mindset.
Act as a brand ambassador upholding Pullmans Our World is Your Playground philosophy.
4. Administrative & Financial
Monitor valet equipment and supply inventory (key tags uniforms parking software).
Ensure all parking fees (if applicable) are processed correctly through the Front Office system.
Qualifications :
Experience: Minimum 23 years of experience in a valet or concierge supervisory role within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
Driving Credentials: A valid UAE Manual & Automatic driving license is mandatory. An impeccable accident-free driving record is required.
Communication: Fluent in English; additional languages (Arabic Russian or French) are a significant advantage.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with property management systems (like Opera) and valet tracking software.
