We are seeking a talented and dedicated Demi Chef de Partie to join our hot kitchen team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our culinary staff you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes maintaining kitchen standards and contributing to the overall success of our food service operations.
- Prepare cook and present a variety of hot dishes including meat fish and international cuisine
- Assist the Chef de Partie in managing daily kitchen operations and food preparation
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely food delivery
- Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes
- Monitor and maintain proper food storage and rotation
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff as needed
- Participate in inventory management and cost control measures
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure customer satisfaction
- Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications :
- Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Culinary Arts or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven ability to prepare and present high-quality hot dishes
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication skills in English
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform kitchen duties
- Valid food handlers certification or ability to obtain one
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in culinary skills
