Job Summary:
As an Executive Director within the Commodity Sales team in Dubai you will lead client interactions and drive the execution of commodity structured financing trades. As a senior member of the team you will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales strategy and enhancing our client offerings.
Job responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key clients understanding their unique needs.
- Originate transactions and oversee the execution process from A to Z ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk policies.
- Analyse market trends and drivers to identify new business opportunities. Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives that align with market conditions and client needs.
- Partner with trading research corporate and investment banking and risk management teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients. Facilitate effective communication between departments to enhance client service
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the team.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
This role requires a combination of technical expertise market knowledge and interpersonal skills including:
- Significant experience in commodities sales (ideally 10 years) with a focus on structured financing demonstrating a proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Ability to analyse complex market data and trends to inform strategic decisions and client recommendations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to clients and stakeholders
- Strong leadership qualities with a collaborative mindset; proven ability to work effectively within a team and mentor junior colleagues
- A deep understanding of client needs and the ability to deliver exceptional service that builds loyalty and trust
- Advanced proficiency in analytical tools and deep knowledge of credit risk related metrics
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance
