Perfusionist

• Operate and monitor cardiopulmonary bypass machines and other extracorporeal circulation equipment during cardiac surgeries.
  
• Manage blood flow oxygenation and temperature regulation to maintain patient stability during surgical procedures.
  
• Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons anesthesiologists and operating room staff.
  
• Prepare calibrate and maintain perfusion equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes during procedures.
  
• Handle blood conservation techniques hemodilution and anticoagulation management.
  
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  
• Stay updated on latest perfusion techniques safety protocols and medical advancements.
  
• Ensure compliance with infection control safety and quality assurance policies.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Perfusion Technology or a related medical field.
  
• Valid certification/license in Perfusion (UAE DOH/DHA/MOH or eligibility to obtain one).
  
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience as a Perfusionist in a hospital or cardiac surgical setting.
  
• In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy physiology and extracorporeal circulation.
  
• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills with perfusion equipment.
  
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure surgical environments.
  
• Excellent teamwork communication and patient-care skills.
