As the Sales Manager for Banyan Tree Dubai and Delano Dubai you will be a key player in driving revenue growth and brand visibility specifically targeting the leisure segment. This role focuses on attracting highnetworth individuals vacationing families and luxury travel groups from the UK and Ireland markets. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities building relationships and delivering tailored sales strategies to increase bookings and enhance the guest experience across both properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation:
Focus on expanding leisure market share by targeting affluent travelers luxury vacationers and family clientele from the UK/Ireland markets.
Identify and leverage key opportunities such as holiday packages exclusive offers and seasonal promotions to drive revenue growth.
Strategic Sales Planning:
Develop and execute leisurefocused sales strategies for Banyan Tree Dubai and Delano Dubai ensuring alignment with the luxury brand positioning and unique offerings of each property.
Create tailored promotional campaigns and packages that resonate with the leisure market ensuring maximum profitability and guest satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and nurture longterm relationships with travel agencies tour operators luxury travel consultants and highend leisure clients.
Provide personalized experiences to VIP clients ensuring repeat business and positive brand advocacy.
Sales Reporting & Analysis:
Regularly monitor and analyze the performance of leisure segment sales initiatives tracking key metrics such as bookings revenue per guest and seasonal trends.
Report on performance identify trends in leisure travel and adjust strategies to meet evolving market demands.
Market Insights & Competitive Analysis:
Stay informed on leisure travel trends emerging destinations and customer preferences to position both properties as premier luxury vacation spots.
Monitor competitor offerings in the leisure segment and adjust sales approaches to maintain a competitive edge.
Crossfunctional Collaboration:
Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling leisurefocused content including promotional materials social media campaigns and partnerships with key influencers in the luxury travel space.
Work with operations to ensure seamless delivery of the guest experience from initial booking to onsite service ensuring that all aspects of the leisure guest journey are exceptional.
Qualifications :
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and business development with a focus on the luxury hotel industry and the leisure segment.
Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in competitive markets.
Experience with UK/Ireland market dynamics and consumer behavior particularly in the luxury travel sector.
Skills:
Strong Sales and Negotiation Skills: Ability to craft compelling proposals negotiate effectively and close deals with highend leisure clients including travel agencies luxury tour operators and direct clients.
Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence both internal teams and external clients.
Market Research & Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing market trends customer behavior and competitor offerings to develop datadriven sales strategies.
Relationship Management: Expertise in maintaining and growing longterm relationships with clients stakeholders and partners in the luxury and leisure travel sectors.
Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to lead sales initiatives while working collaboratively with marketing operations and senior management teams to meet shared goals.
Education:
A Bachelors degree in Business Administration Sales and Marketing Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications in sales or hospitality management will be considered an advantage.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce Zoho CRM etc.) and other sales tools to track leads manage client relationships and generate reports.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint) and salesrelated platforms.
Personal Attributes:
Selfmotivated and resultsdriven with a passion for luxury hospitality and a deep understanding of the leisure travel sector.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to shifting market dynamics.
Strong network within the UK/Ireland luxury travel and hospitality industry is highly desirable.
Language Skills:
Fluency in English is required; additional language skills (e.g. French German or Spanish) would be an advantage.
