We are looking for Jr. Sous Chefs to join our Clients team !

Candidate must be hardworking individuals willing to learn and take on new challenges each day. We need experienced, driven, and creative chefs with strong leadership skills to fit our collaborative work environment.

Working closely with Executive Chef and Sous Chef , the Jr. Sous Chefs will direct accurate and efficient food preparation, assist with menu planning, manage inventory, and train kitchen staff. All shifts are available, including late night, so please indicate your availability and any preferred shift when applying.

  • Duties :-
  • Assist Sous Chef
  • Help in the preparation and designing of all our food menus
  • Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
  • Oversee and organize kitchen stock and ingredient
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all our food items, foods, outlets, services and hours of operation
  • Ensure that all workstations in the kitchen are always cleaned are sanitized in accordance with the health and safety standard

Requirements

  • 40 years and below
  • Must be Available in UAE
  • At least 2-3 years of experience as Jr. Sous Chef or 5 years experience as Chef de Partie
  • Passion for food: someone who enjoys the process of food preparation and creating menus
  • A good sense of business; to be efficient and cost-effective
  • Past experience of working in a professional kitchen or similar position
  • Effective communication skills
  • Kitchen experience and management
  • Ability to work with figures and manage budget
  • Ability to cope under stressful conditions
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to pay attention to details: adherence to specific ingredients and measurement needed for various menus
  • Ability to make quick decisions
  • Ability to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness in the restaurant area
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to multi task: The sous chef in the junior position must be able to handle many tasks all at once
  • Possess strong management and organizational skills
  • Ability to be creative; always willing to try something new
  • Ability to handle criticisms from customers
