Scaffolding Technician

1. Ensuring that the Planned Work scope is managed effectively in accordance with agreed targets
to avoid disruption.
2. Ensure that platform plant, equipment and materials stocks are monitored, and all required certification is in place.
3. Ensure that any faulty or damaged material is quarantined, and details are reported to the Focal Point.
4. Ensure that all members of the team are focused on delivery of HSE and Quality plans.
5. Update Supervisor/Engineer of job progress and any difficulty in carrying out the work.
6. Participate in safety tool box meeting.
7. Perform walkabout of all erected scaffolds in terms of safety and give feedback on any
abnormalities found and correct immediately.
8. To inspect and certify erected scaffolds & scaffolding material prior to use.
9. Leads and controls skilled/unskilled labor and work crews engaged in all activities concerned with the scaffolding works aspects of the project. Ability to optimize resources (manpower, equipment and materials) to ensure efficient and timely completion of the works.
10. Disassembling scaffolding when work is completed, removing and stacking in the lay down area.
11. Ensure that all contract scaffolders are certified with valid card.
12. Conduct inspection certifies the quality, tag validity and safe of use to all erected scaffold as per SembCorp standard.
