Fire Alarm Technician

Responsibilities

• Install and program fire alarm systems in accordance with building codes and manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct regular inspection and maintenance of fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning at optimal levels.
• Troubleshoot and repair any issues with fire alarm systems, including wiring, sensors, and control panels.
• Respond to emergency calls and provide timely and efficient solutions to any fire alarm system malfunctions.
• Collaborate with other team members and interface with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions accordingly.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on fire alarm systems.
• Stay updated with industry developments, new technologies, and safety standards to continuously improve our services.
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with fire alarm systems.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and fire alarm standards.
• Experience in installing, programming, and repairing fire alarm systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls.
