General Manager (Construction - Dewatering/Pumping Service)

Our client is looking for a General Manager experienced in construction industries specifically on dewatering and pumping services. The role will oversee overall operations in GCC and ME area including business development, leadership, sales, and finance. This person is a strategic thinker in relation to establishing and strengthening current client relationships, as well as ensuring the creation of new ones to grow the business. The potential GM is expected to help cement the reputation of our client in the industry in becoming a strong market leader, raising the standard in its respective sector. This is a senior manager role and would then require experience in managing people (performance management, hiring, engagement, etc.) The potential GM will also be in charge of ensuring the company and its employees are compliant to specific health and safety measures

Requirements

The ideal candidate would have the following:

• Understanding of Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology or Civil Engineering.
• 5-10 years’ experience in designs, calculations, and solutions of over-pumping and industrial rental applications in the Middle East Region
• Experience in the supervision of geotechnical activities and use of the ‘observational method’.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to travel and possibly the world, for extended periods at short notice.
