Editor - Oil & Gas Middle East

The ITP business team consists of multiple publications and spans industries, keeping professionals connected to the important news, insight, and analysis in the region. We are seeking an experienced, talented, and driven Editor to manage and lead Oil & Gas Middle East, the leading brand on the region’s upstream oil and gas sector.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to run a business magazine across print, digital, social, and events. The successful candidate will be expected to manage the daily workings of the brand, and will also be required to research and write content, build a wide network of industry contacts, spearhead the brand’s growth as its ambassador, appear at/host events, and provide editorial support to the commercial team. The editor is fully in charge of the brand’s editorial presence.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

- 2-3 years of work experience in a similar role

- Demonstrable experience working across traditional and digital media platforms

- Impeccable writing and editing skills

- The ability to produce quality content quickly

- A level head despite stress

- Strong multi-tasking skills

- Experience hosting or moderating events

- Arabic language fluency is not needed, but is a plus
