We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie specializing in Arabic cuisine to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff you will be responsible for preparing authentic Arabic dishes maintaining highquality standards and contributing to the overall success of our culinary operations.
- Prepare and cook a variety of Arabic dishes ensuring authenticity and quality
- Manage a specific section of the kitchen overseeing junior staff and daily operations
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist in menu planning and development of new Arabic dishes
- Collaborate with other chefs to maintain kitchen efficiency and productivity
- Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels for your station
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Arabic cuisine techniques
- Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications :
- Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
- Minimum 35 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
- Proven expertise in Arabic cuisine and Middle Eastern cooking techniques
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in kitchen equipment operation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced highvolume kitchen environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Food safety certification
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
