Position: IAM Implementation Manager

Location RemoteIndia

Duration 6 months contract

Summary:

The IAM Implementation manager is responsible for designing developing and maintaining identity and access management (IAM) solutions within the organization. This role focuses on integrating and customizing IAM platforms such as SailPoint IdentityIQ ensuring seamless user lifecycle management rolebased access control (RBAC) and access recertification processes. The IAM Developer collaborates with crossfunctional teams to secure applications automate provisioning/deprovisioning and enforce compliance standards. Additionally they troubleshoot and resolve issues optimize system performance and drive continuous improvement of IAM solutions to safeguard enterprise assets.

Responsibilities:

  • IAM Solution Development: Design implement and maintain scalable IAM solutions focusing on integration with key systems like SailPoint IdentityIQ.
  • User Lifecycle Management: Ensure efficient automation and management of user onboarding offboarding and role transitions.
  • Access Control Enforcement: Implement rolebased access control (RBAC) and manage access certifications to ensure compliance and least privilege access.
  • System Integration & Customization: Integrate IAM solutions with internal and external applications using APIs and custom connectors.
  • Incident Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve IAMrelated issues and incidents promptly minimizing downtime and impact on business operations.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of IAM systems to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with crossfunctional teams to understand business needs and translate them into IAM solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate and improve existing IAM processes and workflows to increase efficiency in compliance to best practices and ISG directives
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain uptodate technical documentation and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Work within a hybrid IT/IS environment managing IAM solutions across cloud platforms and onpremises systems ensuring integration with existing infrastructure like SQL databases and JBoss application servers.
  • Collaboration: Engages with crossfunctional teams including HR and application owners to ensure smooth deployment and operation of IAM solutions and to address access management needs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Interacts with senior management and business stakeholders to align IAM strategies with business objectives and security priorities providing insights on identity governance and compliance efforts.
  • Vendor & Partner Relationships: Coordinates with thirdparty vendors and implementation partners to integrate customize and maintain IAM solutions ensuring they meet business requirements and performance expectations.
  • Cross Train other team members on IAM Functions
  • Integration Challenges: Solve complex integration issues by developing custom connectors or API solutions to ensure seamless communication between IAM systems and diverse applications.
  • Access Provisioning Errors: Diagnose and resolve errors in automated user provisioning and deprovisioning processes ensuring timely and accurate account management.
  • Performance Bottlenecks: Identify performance bottlenecks within IAM systems such as SailPoint IdentityIQ and implement optimizations to improve system scalability and response times.
  • RoleBased Access Issues: Address challenges in rolebased access control (RBAC) by analyzing access patterns refining role definitions and minimizing overprovisioning of access rights.
  • Compliance Violations: Investigate and remediate compliance violations by implementing corrective actions updating IAM policies and enforcing stricter access controls.
  • Incident Resolution: Handle critical IAM incidents such as security breaches or system outages by conducting root cause analysis implementing fixes and recommending longterm preventive measures.

Required Skills & Experience:

  1. Integration and Interface related decisions
  2. Stability and Resilience related
  3. Ensuring a proper track of all changes / enhancements on all environments
  4. Ensure to follow proper IAM deployment process
  5. Strong understanding of IAM principles (RBAC least privilege access provisioning recertification).
  6. Expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ with experience in implementation and customization.
  7. Familiarity with other IAM tools like Okta Ping Identity or Microsoft Identity Manager.
  8. Knowledge of regulatory and security standards related to IAM
  9. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Bean shell PowerShell Python Java) for automation.
  10. Experience with APIbased integrations and system connectors for enterprise applications.
  11. Strong development skills in customizing IAM workflows and processes.
  12. Problemsolving abilities for diagnosing IAM issues and optimizing system performance.
  13. Effective communication skills for crossfunctional collaboration with stakeholders.
  14. Ability to automate user lifecycle management and access review processes.
  15. 8 years of handson experience in SailPoint Identity IQ IAM development and support.
  16. Experience working with both cloudbased (e.g. Azure) and onpremises IAM systems.
  17. Proven track record in maintaining IAM solutions in compliance with security regulations.
  18. Experience integrating IAM systems with Banking systems through different integration approaches like API Microservice Hybrid connector OOTB CDP etc
  19. Incident management experience including resolution of IAMrelated security incidents.
