Head Spa Therapist

How does your working day look like

• Supervise mentor and train a team of therapists to deliver exceptional spa services.
• Schedule manage and delegate work assignments for the therapy team.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
• Ensure that all therapists are up to date with industry trends and hotel protocols.
• Deliver personalized treatments (e.g. massages facials body scrubs etc.) in accordance with the guests preferences and needs.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints promptly ensuring a positive and memorable spa experience.
• Ensure the spas ambiance cleanliness and atmosphere reflect the luxury standards of a fivestar hotel.
• Be on time for appointments and thoroughly review appointments after completing each    massage.
• Maintain indepth knowledge of spa services products and techniques.
• Perform a variety of highend treatments ensuring guests comfort and satisfaction.
• Oversee the quality of treatments delivered by other therapists to ensure consistency in service standards.
• Maintain an ample supply of products oils towels sheets and other necessary supplies in a neat and orderly fashion within the massage/face/body work area.  Preparation of kits as required/needed.
• Oversee the ordering stock levels and inventory of spa products.
• Ensure the spa uses highquality products and that the inventory is managed effectively.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure consistent product availability.
• The ability to courteously interact and answer all facility related questions with members    and guests.
• Work closely with the Spa Manager/Director to improve spa offerings and performance.
• Assist in achieving the spas financial and operational goals.
• Contribute to marketing initiatives to promote the spa and its services to hotel guests.

Qualifications :

Your personality counts more than your CV

• 35 years of experience in similar role of Senior Spa therapist knowledge of local market experience in hospitality.
• Certified Degree in therapy education
• Extensive knowledge of spa treatments products and techniques.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
