We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Resident Engineer specializing in building projects you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction activities ensuring project success from inception to completion.
- Oversee daily construction activities ensuring adherence to project plans specifications and quality standards
- Coordinate with contractors subcontractors and other stakeholders to maintain project timelines and budgets
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Review and approve construction drawings change orders and technical submittals
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation including progress reports site diaries and meeting minutes
- Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during construction proposing innovative solutions when necessary
- Manage and mentor junior engineering staff fostering their professional development
- Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management and clients
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in building projects with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies building codes and industry standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software
- Strong project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
- Demonstrated experience in managing construction teams and coordinating with various stakeholders
- Indepth understanding of quality control and assurance processes in the construction industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment
- Willingness to work onsite and travel as required within the UAE

Experience Required (min) 20 Years
Minimum 5 Years of experience as Resident Engineer.
