Were Hiring: Unix and Storage Administrator
Location: Dubai UAE
Are you a skilled Unix and Storage Administrator looking for your next big opportunity Join our dynamic team in Dubai where youll work on cuttingedge technologies in a fastpaced environment!
Job Responsibilities:
- Unix Administration: Manage and maintain IBM AIX systems (versions 5.3 6.1 7.1 and 7.2) including patching hardening and troubleshooting.
- Cluster Management: Administer and troubleshoot GPFS and HACMP clusters.
- Virtualization: Configure and administer IBM Power Virtualization including VIOS and manage virtual environments on Power Hardware.
- Storage Management: Configure and manage local storage using partitions and logical volumes in both physical and VMware environments. Basic SAN knowledge at the OS level (AIX) is a plus.
- Linux Administration: Manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers (RHEL 6.x 7.x 8.x) including CVE assessment patching hardening and compliance reviews.
- Server Management: Build configure and manage physical and virtual servers in VMware and RHEV environments. Skills in Kickstart Bash scripting and Ansible automation are advantageous.
- System Operations: Operate running systems including boot management process identification VM control and service management.
- Security and Permissions: Manage users and groups configure file systems set permissions and manage encryption and access control lists.
- Production Environment: Experience in handling a 24/7 production environment with a minimum of 45 years in AIX and RHEL administration.
