Procurement Officer - ERKIDA

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee the daily activities of the Procurement section.
• Respond to procurement requisitions promptly and provide timely feedback to relevant stakeholders.
• Review compare and analyze purchase options recommending the best choices for approval.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of purchases and pricing.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and agreements.
• Maintain and update supplier information including qualifications delivery times product offerings and performance.
• Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
• Research and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure they meet the companys requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Diploma in Procurement & Contract Management Purchasing & Supplies Management or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: 3 years of experience as a Procurement Officer particularly in the IT industry.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High level of integrity and honesty.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively under strict deadlines.
