Project Manager-Fitout

Job Summary:

The Project Manager will oversee the entire fitout project lifecycle from initial planning and design through to final handover. This role requires coordination with clients contractors designers and stakeholders to ensure highquality delivery within established timelines and budgets. The role demands strong leadership problemsolving and communication skills to manage complex fastpaced projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & :
   

   • Develop and manage project schedules budgets and resource plans.
     
   • Coordinate with clients architects designers and contractors to ensure alignment on project goals.
     
   • Prepare detailed project plans timelines and milestone tracking to monitor progress.
     
   • Review designs drawings and specifications to ensure they meet client requirements and regulations.
     

2. Client & Stakeholder Management:
   

   • Act as the primary point of contact for clients ensuring their vision and expectations are met.
     
   • Manage client relationships throughout the project lifecycle providing updates and addressing any concerns.
     
   • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to report on project progress financial status and challenges.
     

3. Team Leadership:
   

   • Lead a team of subcontractors designers engineers and other specialists.
     
   • Assign tasks monitor performance and ensure adherence to project timelines.
     
   • Resolve onsite issues and provide clear direction to ensure efficient workflows.
     

4. Budget & Cost Control:
   

   • Prepare project budgets forecast expenditures and track project costs.
     
   • Manage procurement of materials equipment and labor ensuring costeffective solutions without compromising quality.
     
   • Review and approve invoices and payments maintaining financial oversight.
     

5. Quality Control & Compliance:
   

   • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant building codes safety standards and regulations.
     
   • Perform regular site inspections to monitor quality and address any issues proactively.
     
   • Manage risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure safety and quality standards.
     

6. Risk Management & Problem Solving:
   

   • Identify potential risks to the project and develop contingency plans.
     
   • Resolve issues related to timelines resources budgets or quality swiftly and effectively.
     
   • Anticipate potential obstacles and implement proactive solutions.
     

7. Documentation & Reporting:
   

   • Maintain accurate project documentation including contracts permits schedules budgets and reports.
     
   • Provide regular updates to senior management clients and stakeholders on project status.
     
   • Ensure proper documentation for project handover including warranties manuals and final reports.
     

Key Qualifications:

• Education:
  

  • Bachelors degree in construction management civil engineering architecture or related field (preferred).
    

• Experience:
  

  • 5 years of experience in project management within the interior fitout or construction industry.
    
  • Proven experience in managing highend commercial and/or residential fitout projects from start to finish.
    

• Skills:
  

  • Strong project management skills including the ability to manage budgets timelines and resources effectively.
    
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
    
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g. MS Project Primavera etc.) and other construction management tools.
    
  • Strong knowledge of construction regulations building codes and health and safety standards.
    
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings.
