Procurement Officer - Al Fares International Tents and Construction

We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced Procurement Officer to oversee our companys purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing purchasing and negotiating goods and services that meet the companys quality standards and budget. This role requires strong analytical skills exceptional negotiation abilities and a thorough understanding of supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify evaluate and select suppliers to ensure highquality products and services.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to maximize efficiency and cost savings.
• Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful purchasing decisions.
• Continuously improve procurement processes to reduce costs and enhance quality.
• Negotiate contracts terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure the best possible value.
• Manage contract renewals and ensure all contractual obligations are met by both parties.
• Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise with suppliers regarding contract terms or delivery.
• Create and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
• Track and manage the delivery of goods and services to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases pricing and other essential data.
• Monitor and control procurement budgets to ensure financial efficiency.
• Prepare detailed reports on procurement activities costs and performance metrics.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on procurement status and any potential issues.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations laws and internal policies.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to the supply chain and procurement processes.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement contingency plans as needed.
• Work closely with other departments such as finance production and logistics to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
• Provide procurement expertise and support to various projects and initiatives within the company.
• Foster a collaborative and transparent work environment to enhance overall company performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in business administration Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain management principles.
• Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
