Job Description
As a Sourcing Engineer, you will engage in discussions and comprehend technical topics on both electrical and mechanical components, collaborating with both internal product development teams and external vendors. You will execute extensive reviews of all electrical components, selecting primary, secondary, and tertiary options to be inputted into Product Lifecycle Management software. You will manage vendor relationships from qualification through development and continuous improvement, co-leading new product development among internal stakeholders and suppliers. Additionally, you will coordinate supplier management tasks, build long-term relationships with vendors, and increase vendor participation by leveraging deep knowledge of program opportunities. Collaborate with Supply Chain and Supplier Quality teams to assess supplier performance against expectations.
