QAQC ENGINEER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The purpose of the job of a QAQC Civil Engineer is to ensure that construction projects meet the required quality standards and comply with project specifications codes and regulations. This involves a range of activities focused on both quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop implement and maintain QAQC procedures and guidelines to ensure construction quality and compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction activities materials and workmanship.
• Identify and report any nonconformances or deviations from project specifications and standards.
• Review and approve construction documentation including method statements inspection and test plans and material submittals.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive QAQC documentation including inspection reports test results and quality records.
• Ensure all QAQC records are accurate complete and properly filed.
• Provide regular reports on QAQC activities highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement.
• Coordinate with project managers engineers contractors and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
• Communicate QAQC requirements and expectations to the project team and contractors.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on qualityrelated matters.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QAQC roles within the GCC region.
• Strong background in highrise building projects in the middle east.
• Indepth knowledge of QAQC processes standards and best practices in construction.
• Familiarity with construction materials methods and testing procedures.
• Proficient in using QAQC software and tools for documentation and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
