PROCESS DESIGNER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

As the Process Designer you will leverage extensive technical expertise in designing process systems within the oil and gas industry. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient safe and highquality execution of process design projects meeting client specifications and industry regulations. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and effective process solutions from concept through detailed design and implementation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and review detailed process design documents including process flow diagrams (PFDs) piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and equipment layouts.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards regulatory requirements and client specifications.
• Conduct process simulations and analyses to optimize design performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with process engineers mechanical engineers and instrumentation engineers to ensure integrated and cohesive design solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior designers and team members.
• Perform design reviews safety checks and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues.
• Participate in project planning scheduling and budgeting activities ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Prepare and present design proposals and reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends technologies and best practices to continuously improve design processes and deliverables.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be available to join immediately.
• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1012 years of experience in process design within the oil and gas industry.
• Proven experience in developing and reviewing detailed process design documents.
• Proficiency in process design software (e.g. AutoCAD SmartPlant P&ID Aspen HYSYS).
• Experience with process safety and hazard analysis (e.g. HAZOP LOPA).
• Familiarity with 3D modeling software (e.g. PDMS SP3D).
• Professional certification or licensure (e.g. P.Eng PE).
• Strong understanding of industry standards codes and regulations.
• Excellent problemsolving analytical and decisionmaking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
