We are looking for a highly skilled Chief Accountant to oversee our clients accounting department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting a keen eye for detail

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management: Oversee all accounting operations including Billing A/R A/P GL Cost Accounting Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP or other relevant standards.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets forecasts and financial plans.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with local state and government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Internal Controls: Establish and enforce proper accounting methods policies and principles; improve systems and procedures to enhance the financial integrity of the organization.
• Audit Coordination: Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and liaise with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
• Coordination with international Head Office

Requirements

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience including leadership roles.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
• Knowledge: Indepth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills attention to detail excellent communication and interpersonal skills ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualities

• Experience in Food service Retail or FMCG industries will be a plus
• Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate analysis.
