ENGINEERING MANAGER

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team in Dubai UAE. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience working with EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) companies on oil and gas projects in the Middle East. The Engineering Manager will oversee the engineering phase of our projects ensuring that all engineering activities are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage the engineering team to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
• Oversee the engineering phase of oil and gas projects ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers procurement teams and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Develop and implement engineering processes procedures and best practices.
• Review and approve engineering designs calculations and drawings.
• Ensure that all engineering deliverables meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project budgets schedules and resources to ensure timely and costeffective project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering department.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration with clients stakeholders and other project team members.
• Conduct regular project reviews and audits to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers promoting professional growth and development.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Civil or related field). A Masters degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering roles within the oil and gas industry with a focus on EPC projects in the Middle East.
• Proven experience in managing and leading engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles standards and regulations in the oil and gas industry.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
