Assistant Foreman

Responsibilities

• Assist the foreman in coordinating and supervising construction activities on-site.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety guidelines and regulations.
• Assist in the planning and scheduling of construction tasks, including resource allocation and material procurement.
• Monitor and inspect work progress to ensure quality standards are met.
• Train and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, including work performed, materials used, and any issues or delays encountered.
• Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving on-site, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Understanding of safety protocols and ability to enforce them on-site.
