Food Health Safety Officer

• Develop implement and maintain food safety policies and procedures in accordance with local and international regulations.
  
• Ensure all restaurant locations comply with health and safety standards set by the Company and authorities.
  
• Municipality Inspections:
  
• Liaise with municipal authorities and ensure timely compliance with inspection requirements.
  
• Address and rectify any issues identified during inspections promptly.
  

• Conduct regular internal audits to ensure all food safety practices are followed.
  
• Coordinate with operations team on implementing corrective actions and preventive measures.
  
• Ensure all staff are trained and adhere to food safety protocols.
  

• Develop and deliver Onsite training programs for staff on food safety and hygiene practices.
  
• Keep up to date with current health and safety regulations and ensure the team is informed and trained accordingly.
  
• Incident Management:
  
• Investigate food safety incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  
• Maintain records of all incidents and follow up on corrective actions.
  

• Maintain accurate records of inspections audits training and incidents.
  
• Prepare and present reports on food safety performance to management.
  

• Coordinate with different departments to ensure integrated food safety management.
  
• Communicate effectively with staff management and external stakeholders regarding food safety issues and improvements.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in food science Environmental Health or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in food safety preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  
• Certification in food safety (e.g. HACCP ISO 22000) is highly desirable.
  
• Strong knowledge of UAE food safety regulations and standards.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work in a fastpaced multibrand environment.
  
• Strong organizational and problemsolving skills.
