• Meets with office-based customers to identify requirements. Gives technical advice related to product selection and application. Demonstrates products and demonstrates added value as appropriate. Solicits orders.
• Performs technical analysis for customer proposals. Prepares technical and commercial proposals including product selection, pricing, and delivery to assigned customers. Uses guidelines for pricing, discounts, national contracts, agreements, or special pricing and an understanding of cost and profit to make decisions.
• Builds relationships and services accounts pre and post-sale. Answers inquiries from customers regarding service, deliveries, and invoicing. Resolves customer issues promptly. May monitor receivables and follow up with customers on past due accounts to ensure that DSOs (Days Sales Outstanding are in line with plan goals as required.
