- The Contract Engineer shall assist in dealing with the technical aspects of contracts for * FEED/engineering study EPC project management consultancy (PMC) and ensuring that the specified technical requirements are met contributing to the successful execution of the project while safeguarding the organizations interests.
- Followings are also responsibilities of the work.
- Preparation of the Tender Documents / Contract Documents / Agreements from technical viewpoints.
- Preparation of any official correspondences for technical issues.
- Communication with internal company and negotiation with any third parties to attain favorable contract engagement and work execution for engineering teams.
- Monitor of department works for the work procedure improvements.
- Documentation and maintenance of any Company s technical guidelines / regulations.
Requirements
- Knowledge with drafting skills about the EPC Tender and Contract Conditions
- Knowledge about the technical terms and good command in English language to prepare and modify documents / official letters
- Negotiation and debate presentation skills
Knowledge of rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors and auxiliaries including associated international codes such as API and ISO Comprehensive understanding of HE and other regulatory compliance requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Very good knowledge of spoken and written English language. Knowledge of Arabic is preferable. Professional Certifications Certified Training in RCM Modules preferred. Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Certified Reliability Engineer according to ASQ Vibration Certification - At least Category II (Category III preferred) according to ISO 18436-2. Lube Analysis Certification - At least Level II Machine Lubricant Analyst (MLA) (Category III preferred).
